Despite the weather, Seekonk Youth Soccer held their third week of games on Sunday, April 23.

Under-6

   Gophers vs. Laser

   For the Gophers, Bethany Smith played a great all-around game. Her teammates Emily Ferrick, Aidan Morrison and Lauren Shanahan all showed excellent teamwork and all three scored goals for the Gophers. For Laser, Caleb Bento played an excellent overall game. His teammate Henry Jordan played with a lot of energy and team spirit. Haleigh Santos added super defense for Laser.

Panthers vs. Falcons

   For the Panthers, Olivia Jarabek played a great all-around game. Her teammate Erin Broadmeadow played super defense. Jared Contois scored a goal for the Panthers. For the Falcons, Evan Pacheco showed excellent teamwork. His teammate Noah Brennick showed great hustle. Devlin Danner had great ball handling skills and Abigail Brennick had some strong kicks for the Falcons. Kaitlyn Danner scored a goal for her Falcons ’ team.

Spirit vs. Beavers

   For Spirit, Mason Martin played a great all-around game. His teammate Olivia Dosoito played with a lot of energy and team spirit. Brian Marulis showed great hustle especially on defense for Spirit. Brook Parks scored a goal for her Spirit team. For the Beavers, Ethan Cooney played an excellent overall game. His teammate Emily Jankowski had excellent passing skills. Jillian Machado scored a goal for the Beavers.

 Jazz vs. Cardinals

   For Jazz, Matthew Silveira played a great all-around game. His teammate Emily Crafford showed great hustle. Luke Robitaille had great ball handling skills and ball control for Jazz. Ethan Hill scored a goal for Jazz. For the Cardinals, Makenna French played an excellent overall game. Her teammate William Ransom added great hustle. Sean O’Brien showed excellent teamwork for the Cardinals.

Under-8

Eagles vs. Titans.

The Eagles Adam O’Malley played a super defensive game. His teammate Patrick Fuller had some great saves in goal. Anthony Sousa and Aaron Bento each scored a goal for the Eagles. For the Titans, Jared Davenport played a great all-around game. His teammate Angela Farren added super offense. Noah Gross had some great saves in goal for the Titans.

Raptors vs. Jets

   The Raptors showed great teamwork.  Andrew Silveira showed great hustle.  Jacob Ciolfi played with a lot of energy and Joshua Marulis scored a goal!  The Jets put the pressure on with Amiel Lopez playing a great offense.  Tyler Brack showed team spirit and Reilly Eddy had great ball handling skills.
