We are on to Week 5! Thanks for all our players and parents for the support in our first Winter Rec season. We've had a blast seeing everyone having fun down at Teamworks, and we hope all our young players are enjoying themselves as well. 

Here are some reminders for the season, and this week's schedule can be found below. Thanks!:

• All games will be taking place on Field 3 down at Teamworks, which is the newly renovated, boarded turf field.
• Players can wear cleats or indoor shoes, their Seekonk Youth Soccer rec jersey (or any royal blue/white shirt), and shin pads
  • Home teams (left on the schedule) will wear BLUE; Away teams (right on the schedule) will wear WHITE
• Game scheduling and lengths are as follows:
  • Kindergarten - Games will be on Mondays and are 4x7minute quarters
  • Grades 1+2 - Games will be on Tuesdays and are 2x20minute halves
  • Grades 3-5- Games will be on Fridays and are 2x25min halves

We hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend! Soccer resumed on Monday for our kindergarteners, and we are back to 3 nights of rec soccer this week down at Teamworks.

The Inaugural Winter Rec Season starts this Friday down at Teamworks on Rt. 6! Players and parents should have heard from their coaches by now, but if not, please reach out to [email protected] so that we can follow-up with your team placement. Here is all the information that you need to know:

The next Seekonk Youth Soccer Board meeting will be taking place at the Aitken Elementary Teachers Lounge on Monday, November 6th @ 7pm. The meeting is open to all who are interested in volunteering to help out our program.

After a long, rainy season of soccer, our Fall Rec League comes to a conclusion with Championship Week this Saturday! This week is always fun for our players, and we hope they feel proud of all they've accomplished with their teams over the past couple of months.

Most teams will have 2 games this week, so please check the schedule to make sure when you know both of your team's games will be. Teams who win their first game will have a second game after about an hour break, while teams who are defeated in their first games will play a consolation game right after. 

Thank you to all our parents, coaches, referees, and players for making this a successful season. We will see you out on the fields Saturday!
